KAT is like 10x better than Ayton right now, and it'll stay like that for at least 2-3 years if he ever reaches that level.

On the other hand, i have to agree, D'Lo is absolutely the best PG we could possibly land. FO simply HAS TO DO everything it takes to get it done. Period.

You highly overrate KAT, 1 payoff win and he has been surrounded by some pretty decent talent the entire time, is he better than Ayton today yes, but its marginal.

Ayton had a nightmare of rookie year with what we had going on with this team. KAT's rookie year numbers are basically the same with Ayton having a better fg %. This is with an offense that didnt really feature him as much as it should've.

Obviously KATs better now-he's had more yrs in the league. If Monty and Jones are serious about a more Ayton heavy offense I wouldnt be surprised if Ayton's up there with embiid next year. He's more athletic (quicker, not as fat) then KAT and right up there with Embiid imo.

If Russell signs with Minnesota and the Suns sign Ricky Rubio as their point guard, you can bet your ass it will be Booker’s final year in Phoenix. The Suns better do everything they can to pair D’Angelo Russell with Book.

Also, Deandre Ayton is no where near the talent Karl Anthony Towns is. At some point, the Suns have to get proven players on the team. I read a lot of comments of people saying Booker is wasting his talent in Phoenix, it’s so true! Can we please get this man some help?

We finally have a good coach with good pieces, this offseason has to be it. The West has opened up with the injuries the Warriors are going through. A lot of teams will be aggressive to improve their team, I hope the Suns are one.

Ayton is definitely better than KAt. Kat has more range and more experience. He also has more responsibility and more freedom on offense. Ayton was used as a decoy and a prop most of last season especially in 4th quarters. Ayton scores so effortlessly. Once he gets stronger and figures out that no one can guard him it’s game over for the league

I simply can not see Ayton as anything more than a decent starter. I struggle big time to imagine him shooting 40% from 3 or being able to create his own offense with such versatility and high efficiency.

Yeah, if Ayton ever shoots 40% from 3 I will be extremely stoked. I expect he might develop a 3 but KAT might right now be one of the best 3 pt shooting true big men ever. I'll be pretty happy if Ayton ever is able to block as many shots as KAT currently does too. I know it's only 1.6 per game right now but that would be considerable improvement.

As far as a trade though, I could go either way. Ayton had a solid rookie year and can improve a ton and I do prefer home grown talent if they do get there.

Minnesota wouldn't make the trade though anyway, so it's pretty moot.

They also included #6, Jackson, warren for Kat in the proposed trade . That’s some crap

My offseason dream scenario:m
Suns stretch Tyler Johnson.

Trade JJ, and the #6 pick for what they can (Atlanta is putting out that they like Culver and want to move up, if he's on the board at 6, trading the pick and Jackson might be the best move the Suns can make, #6 and Jackson for #17?).

Draft Clarke at #17.

Be first to DLo's door with a pitch ready to go, Booker in the room, and get him to sign an offer sheet for less than the max (Maybe $20-22m?) because I still don't think the Nets would match if Kyrie is coming.

We need to sign DLo, and still have 10m-12m of cap space left to use. We could then make a big push on Randle to be our PF and then use the remaining exceptions to add some shooting.

Tomas Satoransky is a big combo guard who can shoot and create (career average of 40% from 3, and averaged 5apg last season)

Then re-sign Oubre.

PG-DLo/Melton
SG- Booker/Satoransky
SF - Oubre/Bridges
PF- Randle/Warren
C - Ayton/Clarke

It's not a championship team, but it would be a fun team to watch and would likely win 40-45 games. Which would be a major step forward for our franchise.

It probably won't go down like this for a number of reasons and factors, but I'd be really happy with that offseason.

Ugh **** the Lakers. At least they gave up the farm instead of getting him for free in free agency.

Return to Phoenix Suns
