I think the repeater tax may put an end to the super team era. I mean they can still form, but depth is a huge problem compare to less star studded but deeper teams.

Only qualifies as a super team If they get one more max guy. Right now it’s just a dynamic duo

I still think super teams will have a hard time. When you see the 3rd and 4th options the dubs and warriors had to rely on, it nuts. Basketball has evolved to be able to exploit the hell out of weak links on both O and D, so it’s great if you have 2 or 3 all stars, but if the drop off is to g leaguers, you’ll have a problem.

I agree... I think 2 superstars + role players is a better choice than 3 max guys.

There are definitely diminishing returns

As long as LeBron is still a superstar the superteam era never ends

It's just the beginning of the super team era. Expect many more super teams to come. Don't forget Derrick Rose is also on a super team wherever he goes.

Even if the Lakers get Kemba they're still not a super team in the sense that they're completely unbeatable.

The NBA is a dynasty, super team driven league. Like I said before today, the Warriors' dynasty will come to an end and then a team team always emerges.

If the Lakers get Kemba or Irving, I imagine the torch of despise and hatred will pass from the Warriors to the Lakers. Hmmm, behind the scenes, the Warriors will be pushing for 1-2 more Finals runs as they recover.
