lol at anyone claiming Lakers didn't win this deal. Prior to this trade, people were saying the whole Lakers youth roster and picks weren't even enough. They managed to keep Kuzma which is a big deal.

Or another way to look at it, the Lakers traded for a guy that averaged 26pts/12rebs/4asts/2.5blks last year.

We got a lot of that sentiment when we got Pau Gasol. He's never won a single playoff game!!!!11

Screw Kemba. Acquire Butler and have LeBron run point.

Kemba isn't gonna give up that supermax deal from Hornets anyway.

He already told the Hornets that he's willing to take less if they can build a competitive roster. Money isn't his motive.

Thank you Kyrie for the heads up. Also thank you Danny Ainge for your continued incompetence.

AD played 75 games the previous two seasons and would have played 70+ again this year if he wasn't sitting out on purpose.

But yeah, "AD has trouble staying healthy".

And now Ingram and Ball will be considered all NBA level talents, lol. The bias is real.

Can the Charlotte Hornets build a competitive roster comparable to LeBron and AD? Methinks not.

Have fun playing with Batum, MKG   Marv Williams    and that Zeller brother.

Jeremy Lamb. I see you.

Already got Lonzo.

I'm really surprised people are giving Ball so much value. He hasn't shown much at all in his career so far. NOP should view this as just taking a flyer on him and hoping he breaks out. NOP should definitely draft Garland as their PG of the future.

He's not a first option on a contender so you're really counting on LeBron in the last few years of his prime to lead that team to the promised land. Health will be a key factor for both players, but let's see if they can sign or make a move for another All-Star who fits AD's timeline. That would change the value of this trade. I'm just not convinced this is a slam dunk for the Lakers. Maybe I'm in denial.

Is Ingram now fully recovered or will be a "Chris Bosh 2.0"?

Ingram, Ball, and Hart are all coming off surgeries, correct? Why not try to get Kuz in the deal? Especially after releasing reports that he's valued as LA's top asset.

It is. And no one is claiming he's a superstar. He's a good, young player on a rookie contract that can do a little of everything. Perfect player next to a couple of superstars.

He'll only be good if he can show himself to be more consistent and efficient. Otherwise he actually hurts the cause with his defense

Kyrie was a trojan horse

Destroyed the team mentality they built before he came with his attitude, threw his teammates under the bus at every turn, disappeared in the playoffs, fired his agent during the AD trade talk and killed any chance of AD coming to Boston and will now go play elsewhere...

How boring

Although, doesn't this significant hurt the Lakers cap space for depth?
