The best course is to stockpile picks, maintain cap space to do so. Enough of this star chase route. Build your own stars.
Agreed 110% but will Dolan allow 3 tanks in a row? I don't see it.

The Garden rocks regardless.

Maybe throw in Kevin Love

We're trying to build a winning culture and you want to bring in Lonzo and his mentally ill pops?

At least Frank is a nice kid.

It's been decades. Do you really expect someone to break out? Right now we get no respect from officials, no respect from media, no respect from fans of the game, no respect from players...honestly, what breaks this fever?

Based on draft night value, RJ Barrett would be the greatest prospect we drafted since Ewing.

The media is gonna kill us. I hope we don’t cave and make a move just to make one.

Based off media, Knicks are in a lose-lose situation.
If they miss on KD = “ha ha! Told y’all KD was never coming dummies”
If they sign KD = “ha ha KD is about to come back playing like current form Vince Carter”

Right. I hope we are forced to make basketball decisions.
It may sound crazy but Scott needs to channel a little Sandy Alderson in how he goes about building this team.
We are only “big city” in terms of geography.
We need to operate like a small market team, make sound basketball decisions and ignore the noise....

Really tough position for our front office.
I’m worried how the casual fans reaction (we lawss Zion!!) factors in how Dolan sees what Pills do or don’t do.

The league needs to stop burying the f*cking Knicks.

The NY market is right there for the taking, we just need 2 f*cking stars.

Here’s one of the big problems, the Knicks are trying to build around a young core that just isn’t that good or at least not perceived that way around the league which hurts them on the court because they can’t win and it also hurts them with free agents

Lebron is 35, depends on who they get with him and AD. I wouldn't call them dominate force when they have no depth. But again if they get a legit prime superstar next to them then they will get my attention.

They still have $30mill left and even at 35, Lebron is top 5 in the league. Add AD and Kuzma and yeah, I used the word dominant correctly unless you can tell me a western team that's better.

Lakers should spread that $30mil out to rebuild their depth rather than place it all on one star.

For starters they should reach out again to Brook Lopez. Floor spacer and will keep AD at his preferred position at PF.

Knicks were willing to include the 3rd pick + at least one of Dallas’ two 1st-round picks for Davis, and Pels had a choice among group of Knox, Mitch, DSJ and Frank, per @NYPost_Berman

Ultimately, offer “wasn’t close

F*ck the media. I was always hesitant to believe a NY bias due to how incompetent the team was over 20 years, but after things turning around, no leaks, smart moves, it's the same sh*t. They must hate Dolan for his treatment of the media, caused they turned the nets into the Spurs east with the quickness.

Its unprofessional to throw such blatant bias into reporting, so they can all go to h*ell

Lonzo is much much better than Frank.
I’m not sacrificing RJ for that swap though. That’s how much highly I think of RJ vs. the options at 4.
