It is Bol is expected to go between mid teens to mid twenties

expected and reality are two different things

i have Bol as the #2 player in the draft, and would be an incredible front court fit with Zion.

Typically want is expected to happen in the top 10 becomes reality. I would be amazed if draft experts were that wrong.

How about this for NO.

Trade Ball for the 6th or 7th pick. Take Garland with the #4 pick. Take Cam with the 6th or 7th pick. They could either trade Holiday for more assets or keep him as their veteran.

You would have a young core of

Garland
Cam
Ingram
Zion

ehh, I like it from a talent standpoint but I HATE the idea of having 3 players that will be up for extension at the same exact time...id seek out other options first.

he broke his leg.

well on his way back already

It's going to be 18 months before he's back to normal (if he ever is), then he'll have 1 more year left on his contract. I'm pretty sure that no one is going to be trading for Nurkic anytime soon.

Pels already got their Point God in Lonzo. Plus they got JRue as well.

Hopefully the Wizards bite on a Brad Beal deal.

Goddamn. Hopefully the Pels do the #4 pick and Ingram for Brad Beal.

What am I missing here? Ingram just had a per of under 15, shot under 33% from three and under 70% from the ft line. Why would Washington trade Bradley Beal for that? He averaged 27, 7 and 7 after Wall went down...

Selfishly, I want to see a trio of Lonzo, Beal and Zion

They need to get rid of Ingram, he's exactly the same position as Zion, i.e. a guy who can't shoot well and needs the ball.
Rest in peace Kobe & Gianna

Lonzo to Chicago for 7

4 to Atlanta for 8 and 10

Get Cam, Garland and Hayes

Trade scraps for whiteside (on a 1 year deal, will have a ton of money and fits with a young center - better than signing a center to a 3-4 year deal)

Jrue/Garland
Ingram/Hart
Reddish/Hill
Zion
Whiteside/Hayes

Next year you have a max free between Whiteside, Hill and moore.

While we're at it how about NOP trades Hart for #2 and Etwan Moore for #3?

Tell me the last time a player expected to end up at the bottom of the draft ends up at top of the draft a week before the draft, lol. That doesn't happen very often if at all. What you asking for is a miracle.

except no one really knows where Bol is gonna end up, it's a wild card...i mean u can trade down from 4 and nab him later, but for me I wouldn't take the risk, I'd take him at four. if you disagree that's fine.

i think you can safely trade down with atl and grab bol or doumboya with an 8 pick and nobody would be mad about it.

I don't think that trade up for the Hawks would be beneficial at all, besides I don't see anybody in this draft is enough to trade up to 4 and we would want something else.

another interesting idea i had...turn Ball around to Chicago for WC3, and take Garland 4th.

Garland
Jrue
Ingram
Zion
WC3

Griff can really make something happen here if he's creativ

supposedly Hawks really want Reddish, so they might have to

Why would it take him that long? And why would he never return to normal. It was just a bone break?
