He's been done for some time. Just shows how weak the Yankees starting staff is that they have to trot him out there every 5th/6th day.

Cashman gotta give up the farm now for pitching when they could've just got the job done by spending money.

Getting Keuchel may have prevented this, but Keuchel isn't the guy we need, and if we got him we would've been too close to the luxury tax to trade for an ace.

We need a true ace like Scherzer or Bumgarner for the playoffs. It's our only true weakness.

Yanks are already over the luxury tax. First time offenders, should've just paid the goddamn money for both.

Their competitive balance payroll is at $186 million. They have about $20 million more to spend before they hit the competitive balance tax threshold.

Then even more reason to go after two pitchers.

The downturn coming was obvious, lets just hope that they can main their position relative to the Rays/Sox fairly well until they come out of it.

Not sure if we can really call Bumgarner an ace at this point.... Scherzer would be awesome, but I would want Stroman over Bumgarner I think

Should've up the ante on the deal for Keuchel. Now our pitching is turning trashy since German got put of the shelf.

Stroman is very hit or miss every year. His SO9 are not indicative of an ace. He's no taller than 5'7. A lot of things scream disaster to me.

Bumgarner is one of the best postseason pitchers of all time. I'd love to have him as our ace.

Why would we trade for Edwin? Voit not enough at first? Smfh how we supposed to find time for Dj and Gio?

If we didn't give up much I love it. We keep him away from rivals, and he's an elite bat.

Because he is unstoppable with RISP this season. Hes actually the total opposite of most yankee hitters we have. He hits below .200 with empty bases but +.330 with men on base. Imagine if he keeps this up and judge comes back and bat infront of him.

I think this also means we're going to deal Frazier as part of a package for an ace.

I'm pretty sure he has 100 RBIs every year since 2012.

Absolute stud.
