The Lakers once again, get their man. Luckiest franchise in the league.

This will be a an action packed summer.

June 20: NBA Draft (4 Days)

July first: NBA Free Agency madness begins

July 5th: Summer league action!

August 31st: FIBA World Cup! So many NBA players will be balling out. International players will be all over the place. Will be fun times.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

They needed to call the Lakers bluff until they at least got Kuzma added and they have that pretty good center as well.

It sucks that Lakers got AD, but I think the picks Pelicans got with three 1sts (2-3 unprotected) and two pick swaps was a good deal even if you're not high on the 3 young players they got. If Boston wasn't dealing Tatum (rightly so) I think they got more than was expected by most. What the Pelicans do next with the assets will determine how good it really was.

Which of those assets is significant? I'm talking about significant in a deal for Anthony Davis. Arguably the best player in the NBA.

If things fall right for the Lakers they could end up with the Larry O'Brien trophy. It makes me sick how everything is just given to them. They have a $hit team then LeBron comes and signs with them. Now Brow going to them for IMO not even one significant asset.

Guarantee Teague would be willing to restructure contract in a trade to a better situation

KAT still outplayed AD head to head this year. :)
The amount of luck the Lakers had in the last 5 years is disgusting though. If the Knicks didn't had so much bad luck it would 100% look like a rigged league.

Pelicans make out like bandits in this one.

Lakers even if they add another star like Kemba might still not win the west

That 2024 pick and 2025 pick swap will be hella valuable. LeBron is done at the time.

Ainge refused to include Tatum in a package for AD. Now Kyrie leaves as FA for Bro. That is why I think draft pick are overrated. Ainge has not got anything from them to build a contender. Hello darkness, my old friend.

A shame they weren't able to obtain Kuzma.

Come on... A healthy Kemba - LeBron - AD team will win the West.

I'm torn. I really don't like the lakers. But the LeBron hate is out of control, so I guess I'd like to see one last run from the King to shut them up.

Too bad we couldn't squeeze into the deal. Let's hope we do something before the draft.

I have tons of respect for Bron, but I just hate Lakers fans way too much. I hope it all implodes.
