The Brooklyn nets Kyrie, Russell stuff is fascinating. The funny part is if Russell hadn't carried that team on his back Kyrie likely would have no interest in Brooklyn but because Russell did, his reward is getting kicked out the door..... Assuming marks let him walk. The other side of this though is it allowed Russell to showcase his talents and will likely get him a 4 year max somewhere. If he leaves I'm pulling for Indiana or Utah.

Nevermind, did a little research and it looks like only a contract for four or more seasons can be renegotiated after the third anniversary of its signing, extension, or previous renegotiation.

I don't need a special occasion for that. Him finding a way on to our roster would kill the buzz and then some. I'd probably watch more Bobcat games than Laker games next year......
