CP3 for Kevin Love would actually make sense, the Rockets would have to toss in picks and other assets but probably the best talent they can get in return for such a horrible contract if Cleveland would do it. Unless the Lakers are dumb enough to come calling with Kuzma it’s either this or the best they can hope for is a prospect with possible all star potential.

Completely unprofessional on Paul's part if true.

You don't think any of that $160 Million Dollars was being paid to you to suck it up and play ball? Even when things get tough? None of that money was to make it work when you're not getting along with somebody?

If I'm the Rockets I'd agree to trade him if he agrees to renegotiate his contract down to something tradable.

4 team deal between Cavs/Rockets/Lakers/Blazers

Blazers have 40 million in expiring contracts
Turner @ 17m
Harkless & Leonard @ 11m each

Rockets get: Kevin Love & 11m cap relief from Harkless or Leonard

Cavs get: 27m in cap relief next season in Turner & either Harkless or Leonard + blazers 2019 1st

Lakers get: CP3 + Blazers 2020 1st

Blazers get: Kuzma & PJ Tucker

This would work out great for every team, The Rockets get the best they can for CP3 with a deadly deep shooter and good rebounder that would pair perfect with Harden’s ball dominated offense, the Cavs get cap space and out from under Love’s contract, the Lakers can dig deep for a 3-5 year run and try for a title to impress AD to stay and the Blazers get a young wing they need to pair with their guards.

Not one, sad reality of a Rockets fan today is that their franchise has just imploded. The Lakers are really the only team that could want him and paired with LeBron and AD it might work out?

that bulls trade. i didnt think otto made that much. also wall and beal seem to want to work it out and stick together lately. id rather take my chances with wall coming back passable than CP3 aging to unplayable in the final years of his conrtract. its a lateral move anyway.

That's funny, I was just about to request for realgm posters creating trade scenarios for Chris Paul to please leave the Cavs out them.

Cavs don't want him. Won't want him. He wouldn't fit the new culture of sacrificing for team. We've moved on from finger pointers.

And let me also say that nobody wants to trade Love for peanuts or cap relief. Would rather he just play basketball for the Cavs if he's not bringing back true value for the future. And no, Mo freakin' Harkless does not qualify as such.
