Bender is the better defensive player IMO. But Saric's offense is definitely what I envisioned Bender to be.

I’m good with it.

Beats drafting Coby White at 6. Now White at 11? I’m cool with that.

Brandon Clarke is the dream though, and then go chase DLo in free agency.

I remember reading a rumor about him and the 6th pick. Whose report was that?

Should be a good fit with Ayton.

Not excited about him at all. We'll see.

Bender being better on defense than a cardboard cutout is surprising enough, how horrific is Saric on defense?

He will suck too if we don't get a real point guard this offseason.

Well at least we didn't pick Cam Johnson at 6. The Suns are already getting dragged all over the media.

Wolves fan here. Congrats on getting Dario. A very skilled offensive PF with shooting and passing skills. I will miss him.

Saric's best ability is moving the ball. He finds the open player and can play the nifty interior pass. This ability was a bit wasted with us because our best offense is to just to give KAT the ball. Saric can go for crafty drives and is a solid cutter, his shot is streaky but he will take them most of the time. He doesn't have a post game but will get some shots to go close to the hoop anyway.
He's a solid roller in the pick an roll, but his screens are meh. He plays exclusively below the rim on both sides and he's probably not the right player for a fast paced offense, since he's most effective in the half court, I think.
On defense his physical limitations show. He's a solid positional defender and doesn't get completly lost. That said, he's getting burned on switches and struggles against stronger players as well. He provides zero rim protection, I don't think i've seen him block a shot when he was with us. His offensive rebounding is better than is defensive rebounding. He plays hard most of the time and will give you some extra possession because of his hustle. He needs minutes and touches to be comfortable on the floor.

I think he can work better with Ayton than he did with KAT and since you lack playmaking he could provide some of them. I think he's very close to his ceiling as a solid roleplayer who needs the ball in his hands quite often to be most effective.

edit: sign Rubio. You will love him.
