for normal people. if you read up on athletes and basketball players in general, they say 8 months before even thinking about practicing ball. 6 months maybe just to walk without cast/support.

How can we take such a massive reach on ANOTHER PF when our guard rotation is so putrid?!

A journey man PG, a decent at best SG and a former #1 pick with one of the most bizarre injury sagas ever seen in the NBA are the only guards we have under contract right now. How on earth are we not addressing this issue with the only part of the offseason that we have total control over? We have zero guarantees that we can find a guard that is worth a damn via trade or free agency.

did you trust him when he gushed on Iwundu?

Iwundu has been serviceable this year as a spot minute guy. At pick 33, that's probably what you will hope for in a 2nd rounder. He improved a lot on defense this year and while his offense may never come around, he at least isn't unplayable.. unless you're relying on him to score.

Some might have wanted Nassir Little, Bol, Bol, Keldon Johnson, KZ Okpala (My choice after Herro and Langford), Matisse Thybulle or others but I want everyone to take a look at game film before making a judgment.

good player, but i dont think he can play SF unless they get an offensive genius to really work on his game. right now, he is pretty bad at creating any offense for himself from the wing unless its a 3 pt shot

Briscoe, Frazier and #46 pick.
Fultz and Bamba are both working out at the Magic facility so maybe they'll be ready.

Frazier's out for a while.

I mean, Iwundu hasn't been a failure of a 2nd round pick, so I don't know what that's supposed to mean.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Pretty sure my post says 6-9 months. 8 months is before the season starts. So he misses another month or two for conditioning? He'll definitely have the option to play this season.

I think he misses most of the season, November is way too soon for an ACL tear that occured in March.

We shall see long-term.

Still think he was one of the best on the board.

Guys I didn’t look at this guy but watch some scouting videos on him. Shot 39% from three is 70 games 59 fg% shots in the post can score and drive off the dribble and finish. This guy is the embodiment of efficiency. Might explain why a lot of analytics guys fell in love with him. Not even mentioning his defensive skills. I wouldn’t consider him to be a big.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.
