COME ON. how can you not love this kid :D

It just hit me, when he said they made him watch old Knicks games that Ewing/Starks was before he was born. Knicks have only been awful in his whole existence (save for 1 season). I feel old lol.

You feel old? I thought he when he said his grandfather’s favorite player it was going to be Frazier or the Pearl, then he says Ewing and I think I am f’n old.

I wonder how they’d use RJ if Kyrie signs.

On one hand . I love that sort of thing, on the other, that reminds me too much of when the knicks did that then lost.

He looked really good in international play with Kelly Olynyk. Kind of a small sample but you get an idea of what he’d look like playing next to a floor spacing big.

What’s crazy and so overlooked is so much of his scoring in the paint was over and in CROWDS. Three defenders, two of his guys, smh.

Please take Patrick Ewing’s lotto draw night advice: be happy with what we have in this young man, cherish him and support him.

Travis Knight - nah
Baker? Too nice, wrote a kids book
Mario? Not drafted, but potential
Kornet - low key hated, but lacks true in the face aggressiveness
Assorted Euros - none of them possessing true American white boy d*ckishness
Chris Dudley - priviledged, arrogant, a real d*ck. Willing to foul anyone anytime. Last true player of this ilk. Loses points for being paid like real starter

This Brazzers fellow? Real potential as super annoying to the entire league white role player.
Chance for some Austin Croshere, Danny Ferry, Scott Skiles "greatness" (Skiles was actually good).

I know I'm missing someone. There was someone who looked even more like a HS janitor than Skiles.

Can't forget Tyler Hansbrough, Scot Pollard, Tom Tolbert and Jud Beuchler, not to mention our own Pat Cummings and Bob Thornton -- there's a long and rich tradition.

Brian Cardinal literally has "The Janitor" and "The Custodian" listed as nicknames on his basketball reference page.

The Celtics used to always have one of these guys, from Rick Robey to Eric Fernsten to Greg Kite. The Sixers version was Steve Mix.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

If we strike out in FA I have a feeling it is going to be RJ, Ja and Darius Garland that will be fighting it out for ROY.

I think Pelicans team might be too dip and I won’t be surprised if Ingram steals a sizeable chunk of Zion’s thunder.

There is also a guy picked relatively later that usually contends but I don't see any strong one for now except perhaps Rui with the Wizards and all the way down to THT in the Lakers (will probably get playing time and LAL usually drafts well in that range). Iggy could also be in the equation for the All-Rookie second team if he is able to bump Knox out of the rotation.

By the way what are your thoughts on a Garland-Sexton back court for the Cavs? Cleveland looks like they want to be Trail Blazers of the East.

Rowan's boy is prepared to handle New York City. Rowan's been prepping his boy for this. Now, it's up to RJ to drink from the well.

Takes a different breed to not only play, but survive the NYC fishbowl.

I wonder if RJ will ever just go by his real name Rowan Barrett Jr in honor of his father.

I'm deadass at the point where I don't care if we strike out on any of the big free agents. I got a feeling RJ is going to be at least top 10 in the league in a few years.
