Would make this offseason get off to a great start.

I'd rather he actually stay. Raptors match up well with the Lakers. We need a team out there to beat them so they don't catch us in titles.

Lets get he and Al to Clippers then, stop the Lakers from even getting to the finals

So very glad that's not us. And I love bigs. Just not perpetually broken, immobile, cry-baby ones that think they shouldn't play center when they're 7'3".

Watch him take the QO

I can't picture him being dumb enough to do that. But if he does that and cares about money at all, he is as dumb as a rock. One can make the argument in terms of some balance of money/happiness of signing a 4 year deal with an opt out after 3 but taking QO for a player of his ability post ACL surgery would be incredibly stupid of him.

Magic general manager John Hammond said on Tuesday Orlando has "no idea" when point guard Markelle Fultz will return to the floor as he rehabs his injured shoulder.

"It’s just a matter of him just continuing to get more comfortable, continuing for him to get himself in a position where he’s ready to step on the floor and help us," Hammond told 96.9 The Game in Orlando. "And look, we have no idea when that’s going to be. We’re hoping much, much sooner than later. But once again, we’re trying to do this the best we can, and that’s have that word of patience."

Hammond noted Fultz will not play with the Magic's summer league team in Las Vegas.

What is this, year 3 of an undiagnosed, non-specific shoulder injury? Got to be one of the most bizarre stories for a #1 draft pick ever.

Crazy to think Fultz put up these numbers in college:
23.2 PPG/ 5.7 RPG / 5.9 APG / 1.6 SPG / 1.2 BPG, on 47.6% FG / 41.2% 3PT

In Danny we trust. Because otherwise we'd be rolling into year 3 of an IT/Fultz backcourt.

I'd be surprised if Fultz plays another minute in the league, pretty sad.

KD opted out, so that 0.0000000001% chance of a Kyrie/KD combo here is officially dead. Thank goodness.

If he's too scared to come back to a team that nobody outside of Orlando even watches then there is truly no hope :noway:

Meaningful minute? I might agree. I wonder if he is under a psychiatrists care?

So a couple months ago Knicks fans thought they were getting Kyrie, KD, and either AD or Zion. Now they're likely going to have an overpaid Rozier, an overpaid, shell of himself Cousins, and RJ Barrett. That's the most Knicks thing ever.

yeah but a lot of the people he was on bad terms with are gone.

i could see it happening. actually i'm hoping for it because every shot that DLo takes will be one less that lebron or AD take. and DLo will take a lot of shots.

Maybe we can find a three team deal where we sign and trade Horford and get Kemba, while Charlotte gets a couple of picks from both teams.

Benefit is we would have the full mle to get a big. That's 9 million.

Edit: wrong thread.

The GM'less Wizards accepted a 2022 2nd rounder to help the Lakers clear cap space to sign a max FA. Cool guys, nice work.

If Kawhi signs with the Lakers, does he get the KD treatment?

Hell no. He's a proven champ and kicked ass in the past playoffs. He has a blank check to do whatever he wants
