Yup. I think the Jo and Simmons connection will help.

It took Colangelo and Brand what, 2 years to tear down everything Hinkie built?

The Lakers lack of depth is comical though. If they sign Jimmy, they'll have only 4 players under contract and will be out of cap room. They'll only have the Room Exception to sign a 3&D PG. Then they need to fill their rest of their team (7-10 roster spots) with vet mins only.

PG Room Ex | vet min | vet min
SG Butler | vet min | vet min
SF Shadow | vet min | vet min
PF Kuzma | vet min | vet min
CE Davis | vet min | vet min

They need to do massive load management for their top 3, but will have no depth to do so. I'm confident that they would have virtually no chance to win a title next year. The year after they'd have the MLE and BAE to add 2-3 bench pieces, so at that point they could be a legit contender.

we have not been linked to Russell at all.

Brogdon and Horford are apparently next in line.

Imagine if tobias goes to the clippers, we will probably be the laughing stock for 10 years.

Elton clueless brand.

There's no question Jimmy is going to leverage us against the Lakers whether he has any intention of going there or not. He'll force us to fork over the full 5 year MAX to keep him now for sure.

They're rumored to be interested. If Tobias walks anywhere it makes that terrible trade look even worse, but if its the Clips how humiliating would that be?

We'd be idiots to go after Brogdon. He's an RFA and he's a role player.

And Horford is too damn old.

The NBA FO rejects are on notice now...

I think Harris is a lock to stay with the Sixers, the teams that would want him are capped out or nowhere near being contenders. The Nets are supposedly getting KD and Kyrie, so that's the major threat off the table and the 5th yr secures it for the Sixers. Butler is the one to worry about especially with the Lakers having space and the Rockets moving heaven and Earth.

If you lose Butler you have to go after Kemba or Russell.

Feels like Brett Brown still has huge say in personnel. Brogdon and Horford are obvious coach preference targets.

If we strike out in FA, some of the blame should probably fall on Simmons & Joel. They're clearly a tier below the NBA upper class at the moment, for different reasons (Joel is just out of shape at least).

If Ben wants to be a superstar he's gonna have to get his shot together.

the lakers got like 4 players in their roster.. LMAO

Even if we retain jimmy they are gonna be a problem for us in the FA, a lot of holes in their team.

Could Brogdon be more than a role player? Do we need more than a role player though? He won't be paid max will he?

50/40/90 is not too shabby.

It's possible 3 years from now the Tobias Harris trade could look worse than the Markelle Fultz trade if Shamet blows up and the Miami pick is top-3.

Absolutley, he can. His per-36 scoring was at 19.7 this year. He's itching for Buddy Hield-like breakout.
