If you needed to trade him at least get some support back. Our window is now. Picks are useless

Picks let us dump horrible deals and get support at the deadline last season.

wow, stunned. making the best of a bad situation? refusing to pay the tax? no coherent plan to get to the finals? foot concerns? all of the above?

Picks are useful to almost every team that doesn't have the Bucks window. assets are assets and can be traded for stuff you need
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

The writing was on the wall that they were prepared to let him walk, but having him go to a conference rival is a huge bummer. Really disappointed that they weren't willing to make this work.

Can we trade for Beal with those assets?

We'll see the details on the picks but I don't think you understand sign and trades if you think this was a bad return.

It's more about how to feel about not having Brogdon around next year when we have a window to go for it now.

You get a huge TPE.

Nonsense, those picks will be extremely useful when trading Middleton in two years.

Agreed on the rest, but meh, is Indy really a conference rival swapping out Bogdanovic/Young for Brogdon/Lamb, and Oladipo coming off a brutal injury?

I don't think the contracts match with the TPE. So we would have to dump more.

I'm not buying $18 burgers and $7 sodas if they weren't willing to pay to bring Brogdon back.

Just hoping we can use the trade exception (being reported around 10m) and the picks to get a 2 guard now that we lost Brogdon.

Traded him to a Hill suitor. That's a bonus, ... Though I'm guessing George is a lock anyway.

I’m now very curious about the TPE. AND, what the remaining plan is.

Just skip the middle man and go straight for the stuff you need then.

BUT THAT WOULD MEAN THE OWNERS HAVE TO PAY MORE LUX TAX!
