Unfortunate. Sad to see Al go. Wouldn’t have okay with us giving him that contract but Butler choosing Miami makes Capela a bit more unlikely than it already had been.

Good for Al, though. Know he didn’t really want to play center and those dollars are worth it. Just don’t know what our next step is for a big. I’m half hoping we use Jaylen to get a decent big via trade.

Who is better? That is a stacked starting 5..Richardson is awesome and Horford needs no mention. Horford and Embiid will be absurd defensively.

Al to the Sixers was about money primarily and the chance to play a significant role.

We'd be hating a $100M+ deal for Horford two years from now. And it really doesn't make the Sixers leaps better - they signed Harris and Horford. Big deal. Both essentially role players, with a tall point guard who can't shoot and a goofy center who cares more about his fame than winning. Sixers aren't a threat.

Only care about Lakers losing out on Kawhi. That's all that matters now.
