Yeah it's laughable to consider him much of a vocal leader after witnessing last year's Celtics.
He’s a quiet leader. Good for young guys to learn from but isn’t the type to call anybody out on their bull like a KG or Pierce would. Which is what we needed in the worst way but I think Jimmy is a bit more in that Kyrie mold than anyone else in Philly. Sure Embiid is a little immature but otherwise they may not need anything over the top leadership wise. Al’s a good fit for them
He's a lead by example type guy. The only problem is the NBA is full of brats who don't give the slightest of ****.
He won't cause any issues, and if only players respected him would he quell them. So it depends on the player if they respect Al enough to follow him.
Al will, much like his presence on offense, won't be the reason you win or have a great locker room. But he'll complement any positives in a locker room quite well. And that's about it.
If you got some negative players they'll walk all over him like the doormat.
