Let it go man... he's a good 3 and D guy

Lmao, not even that. He’s 28 years old and we have 4 guys at the 2/3 already.
trier and Dotson are replaceable. Trade them for 2nd rounders

if he doesn't jump on the take on bad contracts to the t-wovles desperately trying then its a fail...u didn't clear cap space not to use it on the two best ways to use it

sign A level talent
use it to collect draft capital

if you just sign mediocre role players...why clear cap space at all?

3rd year is a team option, no?

There's a report now that it isn't

Do I like what Perry's doing? Not really. I'd've done a lot different

Do I hate it? No. Nothing really moves the needle either way for me. Moves are head scratching, but not super great or franchise changing bad. If we take on assets for a bad contract or two and Randle actually has a team option, I'm pretty good on what we did. If not and we continue to just sign guys for 2 years, meh. Randle being a fully guaranteed 3 year deal would be the one thing I'd hate

Just not worth it to get worked up over. I expected us to get nobody big, and we really didn't. Here's hoping the kids develop, RJ is a stud, and we get lucky in the draft next year. All there is to it.

Knox will be a bust if you make him a 3 and we just spent 30 million on 2 4’s. Y’all don’t realize how clueless this FO is.

Knox could play 4 next year? Come on. He'll get broken in half. Give him a couple of years to lift weights and eat a few cheeseburgers.

He could STILL get a few minutes at 4 even after Randle and Gibson, who need to provide about 18 minutes a night at C as well.

Sure, I would've liked a cheaper guy than Gibson, but it's not the end of the world.

Not picking on this post in particular, but I don't understand why people still think players are numbers 1-5. At the very least it's obvious that those numbers should be separated by game state.

I agree with you. I am upset about KD. Just the whole situation in general. If he doesn't tear his achilles is he a knick right now? We'll never know. But to be honest, I'm really just tired. Being a fan of this team for 20 years has been exhausting. And this was the year it was supposed to turn. But on we go, and I will continue because it's my team. I love this ****ing team.

All these short contracts can be traded if another disgruntled star wants to leave next season.

Tank for what? Pelicans got the #1 pick winning 33 games

I can honestly get over Durant and Irving. I know it was risky.

I'm just not liking these movies. I would like to tank more, and use the cap space for more picks. And I think this is a genuine reason to be upset. Our FO (coach too) really do lack creativity.

We would've gave Tobias and Horford a combined 300 million.

Dude you took the words right out of my mouth. I have never seen a more miserable group of know at alls in my entire life. I have been a knick fan since their first championship 1969/70 so I feel their pain but DAMN!! Enough with the whining already! Randle and Gibson are both solid signings that improve the team and decent money wise. Once KD got hurt I personally didn't want to sign him at all, much less giving a max deal. I mean haven't we learned yet from our history that those kinds of deals NEVER work out for us? Kyrie Irving I didn't want at all (See Boston and Cleveland before Lebron). The only thing I was really hoping for (which I knew was pipe dream) was Kawhi Leonard alone or teamed up with KD.

Yeah, this forum is pretty bad at this point. Majority just want to keep making the same mistakes and then bitch about history repeating itself.

What did I say... ppl need to chill. Everyone is taking out their knives and looking to shank someone like we're in Knicks prison.
