It all comes down to Fultz.
We are a treadmill team if he doesn't recover and reach his potential.
We are top 4 team in East if he is physically and mentally ready to be our starting PG next season. Plus if Fultz hits his potential, then next offseason, we would have a star to market ourselves to for top free agents.
I 100% agree.
The Orlando Magic are Markelle Fultz being good away from having a really good basketball team.
If Fultz completely busts this year and gives the Magic nothing, Orlando is going to be in that 38-43 win range again. Probably good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to do any real damage.
If Fultz is good, the Magic could absolutely be fighting for a top 4 seed. They have the size, the defenders and the depth. They just lack that one dynamic offensive threat off the dribble.
