Who else is/was out there? Noah Vonleh, Looney - Utah got Ed Davis with their room exception.. Kosta Koufos isn’t bad defensively..

Kanter should be better defensively than what he has shown.

He was solid in the playoffs this year at least.

None of this crap matters if leonard picks the lakers. Idk why this guy hasn’t made up his mind yet. It makes me sick.

Yea.

Danny traded Irving and Horford for Kemba and kanter.

That's basically the sum of it as of now and I really doubt anyone would of said yes to this prior to last week.

Kemba I'm gonna get behind but lol on Danny and his abilities to get bigs

That’s not at all what happened. Kyrie and Al decided to leave as FA’s, and Ainge was able to secure an all-NBA point guard and signed a stopgap center with what little salary was at his disposal.

You clearly want to push the narrative that Ainge should’ve done something differently as you always do. I’d be interested in hearing from you what better options were available that Ainge turned down.

Am I excited about Kanter- No. but I’m not going to rip the GM after he salvaged what was pointing toward a total disaster of an offseason. I’m actually looking forward to watching this team this year. They won’t contend for a championship, but they could get there in a couple years if things break the right way. I am excited to see how brown and Tatum develop, Hayward’s improvement (if he can improve a little, he could be a big trade chip next offseason with one year remaining), and determine what we have in R Williams and to a lesser extent the rookies.
Totally this. I wonder which GM would be able to recover like this when his two best players decide to take their talents somewhere else.

I really love what we have done thus far. It’s up to these young players now to step up their game.

The best part is now all the fans who were calling for Ainge to be fired before free agency even started will all learn their lessons and never doubt him again.

He will be a bench player by mid-season....theres something else in the works..

I am hoping he is a bench player from the start. Start Williams as your defensive big man and then bring Kanter off the bench to clean up 2nd unit bricks and go to work in the post.

Anyone concern about kanter’s injury history? He hasn’t started a lot of games.

This was the best possible outcome for our offseason after losing Kyrie and Big Al. We will miss Big Al, but i am pumped again for this team. This team will be fun to watch and by fun i mean, really, really, really fun

Kemba/Brown/Tatum/Hayward/Kanter (All wings interchangeable + 2 playmakers) with a bench of Smart/Langford/Semi/Williams/Williams, man!

We will be tough on defense even if some of you think that Kanter is trash on D. (He actually is, but i believe Brad is gonna do his magic and we will better than last year on D + our offensive flow is gonna be amazing without a certain ball hogging diva).

Future is looking bright again whichever way you look!

Enjoy the offseason folks, i know i will!

Kanter/Noah/Timelord

Either Noah (Vonleh or Joakim) would be a nice get. I'm sure Vonleh is looking for more money than we can offer though, and maybe Joakim too.
