I remain a huge fan of Hassan and am grateful for all he did for us. He had one bad series against the 76ers, but so did the rest of the team. So many great games, though. My favorite was the triple double against Chicago. Brilliant.

Good luck with the Blazers, Hassan! You are truly unique.

He is definitely gonna put a monster game on our head when he visits the AAA next year.

Good luck Hassan!

I'm very appreciative that Hassan is no longer on the team.

Why are so many of you glad to see him gone? This trade seems like a steal for the Blazers.

We would have given up Hassan for nothing. To get 2 role players is great (both expirings). Most thought we'd have to give up a pick or take a bad deal

Hope he has to sit economy class on the wait to portland.

Dude is a diva and bad for the team culture. Never works hard. Inconsistent. Not a smart player. Gives up on plays. Complains all the time.

Most games will look like this: Will give you four good minutes in the beginning of a game and then disappear.

I have never seen so many centers dominate a game as I have with seeing players against Whiteside.

Whiteside was a guy that had the potential to be an all star and he just stopped working.

He may exceed expectations his contract year, but be careful with re-signing him.

It was really fun to watch his development after we found him in the G-League. The eye-popping block and rebound numbers were exciting to follow. It was really all fun and games until he got the big deal and his development stunted. Did not appreciate the attitude in the last few years, but ultimately, a player that should be remembered with fondness. Farewell Hassan.

We have no use for him. We've been trying to dump him.

Our best center since Shaq?
gonna miss him, he really helped us when it came to rebounds & defense for this team, we struggled with that b4 him. Should have been in all star a few yrs back.

Whiteside thinks he has shooters now.

No big man, those guys have someone to retrieve their misses now.

I hope he doesn't think that they're going to run their offense through him.

This might very well be great for the Blazers. Hassan never really blossomed like he could have because of the offense we would try to run. He is also susceptible to having attitude issues that wouldn't sit well with the coaching staff, ultimately getting him benched or low playing time, even when we did need him. It was just bad for everyone. Even in our Heat glory days when Lebron was here, we never had a real Center, Bosh was our Center. The back ups were Joel Anthony, Birdman, dudes I can't even remember right now.

Heat signed Hassan out of desperation and also the Mavs offered him the max and that made us panic. That was our fault, because we never got the most out of him. I'm sure Hassan is happy now that he might actually get to play. He will get some nice looks with Lillard there too.

my least favorite Heat player of all time and its not close. Whiteside will never really struggle to put up numbers but I'm certain he cannot be a contributing player on a playoff team.

I could not agree more ...The playoff series performance against Philadelphia was childish and embarrassing... not because he was bad but because he stopped competing ...I believe that after lost the trust of the organization
