That’s quite the badass group of players right there, even if that’s ‘all’ we end up with.

Don’t know of J Allan’s game. Plays both ends?

Not sure what SL players might earn a spot. I wonder who looked good today?

Traditional centre but incredibly good defensively. Could be another Gobert potentially at best and looks like Capella at worst. He's also only 20 and the trade would make Brooklyn fans lose their minds and maybe rightfully so cause of how he could potentially be.

Him next to A.D would be a block party and that is legit one of the few people that could get A.D to move to the 4.

As much as I would hate to see Kuz go, and if he is who you say, this type of move would seem to justify why. But why would they trade him?

The only reason would be DeAndre Jordan to be honest and they do kind of lack a really good third option. We wouldn't have a lack of scoring options if we do get Kawhi.

Yeah, if we don’t get Kawhi, Kuzma stays.

Definately, we'll need the third option for sure, even with him he'll be great with more open looks (he'll just need to actually defend).

Yep. He’s a potential big four member while still on his cheap rookie deal.

closing lineup if you get Green or KCP (easily best targets) should like Philly's style big ball

James-KCP or Green (whoever comes)-Leonard-Kuzma-Davis

There aren't good enough PGs out there really

I'd offer the minimum to Shane Larkin if he wants to come, not sure if he'd take such paycut (makes $3M net in Turkey so he would be getting like a third of that, but maybe to play in this team and get exposure

He is exxactly the type of Guard that you need

Pesky defense, deadly three pointer?

I wonder if LeBron would consider moving to PG full time? I know he’s been against the idea in the past, but honestly, our backcourt depth is awful, and I don’t see any path out there to readily to address it. There are enough guys out there to fill out the front court pretty decently, even if he moves to the point.

defense is meh, he is active but small

But can break defenses off the dribble and you have no Guard that can do that, and he can pull-up, also have nobody for that

If Leonard signs, we need
1. a big for load management
2. defensive wing for load management
3. PG
4. Shooting

Looks like we don't really have much options on the guard positions :(

Monroe or McGee or Willie (Min)
AD / Kuzma
James / RHJ (Min)
Leonard/ KCP (MLE)
Rondo or Trey Burke (Min) / Caruso (Min)

Make that 2 bigs and 2 defensive wings for load management. AD, Kawhi and now even Lebron are injury prone.

Emanuel Mudiay or however you spell his last name, big “PG” could be had for a Vets minimum just to add size and fill depth out.

Personally, at this stage in Cousins' career I would not offer him more than the vet minimum -given the current structure of our team. While he was willing to take less to rehab his career and reputation at GSW; I don't know that he would do so again this year.

He really didn't make a difference at all with GS. He's never been more than adequate on defense and the attitude is lurking under the surface. I would pass on him. Even a guy at Pau's advanced stage gives us more overall than Cousins would IMHO when you count in experience and attitude.

I disagree. He was coming back from major injury and his stats only took a slight dive.
He was 39th in RPM and 9th in DRPM

I think he is way under-valued especially because he had the best defensive season of his career.

DRPM has a lot of noise with players getting credit for being on the floor with other good defensive players. I wouldn't trust it especially for a player like cousins.

Adding Cousins to GS didn't change their outcome. He played horribly down the stretch of their finals losses. He exhibited the same mental toughness issues he's had his whole career. I couldn't care less what his stats saw when you do something as obviously stupid as the moving screen he did toward the end of game 5. We're talking about playing for championships here... not video games. You have to look beyond the stats to the player's makeup. For me Melo is in the same category. Not guys you want on your team in critical situations.

McGee
Pau
Cousins

Is my order of preference. McGee can still be helpfull on both ends of the floor... Pau only plays defense with a minute left in the game.
Cousins can still play, but is inconsistent and doesn't fit a role well...

I'd love to have both Pau and McGee, with Pau being our 3rd option at C

Well I think COusins is really good value right now.

Regardless, I think Rondo, AD and Cousins want to get back together to create that Pels team 2 years ago. I think they really vibed.
