I know this is tampering but I hope with Masai and Giannis family connection that Giannis secretly be part of this meeting to keep Kawhi in Toronto for 5 years and not join that BS in LA, Telling Kawhi he'll be here in 2021 8-)

Unless Masai has a trade lined up to show how he is going to improve the team i dont see why Kawhi wouldnt choose an LA team. Winning a title in Toronto is not a new experience for him he has already been a champion. So that concept of him sticking with a champion doesn’t really apply. He is someone who left the supermax and 80 Mil on the table.

I think if Masai can land him another star we have a great chance. But if he can’t, waiting a year for cap space in a summer where the only real star who would be a free agent is AD, and he already wants to stay in LA. I just don’t see Kawhi waiting for a chance at a star in 2021. Masai needs to have a trade plan to show Kawhi how he will improve. We beat Philly by a last second shot in game 7. That same team got rid of a distraction in Jimmy and brought in a solid glue guy in Horford.

Ball is in Masai’s court to show how he will improve.

LA press and fans made themselves believe something by just stating it over and over. It got to the point they are all convinced he would sign on the spot simply by having a meeting. Now they are anxious.

The opportunity to live in LA will always be there for Kawhi... The opportunity to be Lord Leonard of a nation is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him that he'd have to turn down to go be the 2nd biggest star on the team.

Simply put, no one STILL has a real clue on Kawhi and the situation. At all. Just block out all the noise and you will see, absolutely nothing has happened. So relax.
