The Los Angeles Clippers and Rodney McGruder have agreed to a three-year, $15 million deal.

McGruder averaged 7.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game last season with the Miami Heat.

I agree... this is a strange signing. It's got to at least be a team option or maybe non-guaranteed for the 2nd and 3rd year.

Clippers have his bird rights as he was claimed off waivers in April. He doesn't effect cal space right now as he can be signed after $32m cal sapce is used. Same goes for Beverley deal.
