Lakers at this point haven't heard anything more but are eagerly awaiting a potential decision today. While not sky high, internal confidence is still the theme in terms of how people are feeling about the situation. Lots to look forward to!

Also I just clarified: Lakers were not told explicitly there would be a decision today... but they just expect it for the same reasons as everyone else.

San Diego is Kawhi's home. His gf and 2 kids and maybe Mom was in SD bc they weren't with him when he arrived in Toronto earlier this week.
