Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
I'd prefer from a team building perspective to keep Adams and trade Russ now. Emotionally, trading Russ is always going to be the worst option though.
Steven is supposedly a lot more in practice (really good passed, developing shooter) than he is in games. Let's see if a change in concepts can make him more valuable, he gets a lot of gasol comparisons, and maybe he'll be a late bloomer like Marc.

I'm like leslie knope right now from parks and rec. I have like 20 binders made planning for this situation.

Shams is the only one talking about Russ being unhappy in OKC? Don't know how we are going to find a good trade for Russ.

SGA/Ferg/x/Gallo/Adams where x is hopefully a guy who can create and shoot a bit. That's where I'd like to be going into next season. I don't think both grant and Ferg can be in a lineup that doesn't score off Star power.

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
We can give the keys to the team to SGA as our pg of the future and trade Westbrook, or try to used both of them at the same time, and used Dennis, ferguson, burk from the bench

SGA and Diallo were teammates at UK. I'm sure SGA is in shock. Hopefully that alleviates the sting a bit.

I think Hardenasg was right. Bazley will be a big part of the offense next year.

Honestly, I hope the Clips win it all next year. They have been an atrocious franchise that finally started playing smart. A few years they did what we are doing now. They aren't the lakers and I like Kawhi and George. I think they'll be a blast to watch.

There's a small hope that Billy will be a lot cleverer(?) Without having to cater to a lineup that can depend on Russ/PG. I don't buy it since he's always used a ball screen offense. If we're going to try and be clippers competitive next year we need at least (assuming no Russ) 2 more guys capable of creating some offense and working within a system.

oh yeah I'm rooting for them. I love both Kawhi and PG13. Just hate Beverly but whatever.

I'm hoping Milwaukee. Then golden State just to stick it to Durant. Clippers are third.
Edit: actually throw Houston in there too somewhere.

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
Another plus about getting SGA is that having a heady pg who can see over the defense and know where to deliver the ball really helps a rebuild.

I think a good place for westbrook is under coach pop and the spurs, if we trade westbrook at least do it to a team he would like to play for a long time if he want to stay keep getting shooters

Re: Thunder Offseason Thread
The only one that betrayed OKC and Russ is Durant. PG13 did nothing wrong. OKC had a great situation while Durant was there and he walked in the worst way to the second best team ever. PG13 stayed and got us a lot of picks and a young prospect. PG13 was also in a very different situation because we had no more room to improve. And if Westbrook is right and is unhappy about our current situation, imagine for a player that didn't want to come to OKC in the first place...

Oh, and add Gallo to the list of players we acquired two years too late.

Presti flew to Mike Muscala's house while George was trying to find a way to leave.

Russ really doesn't fit in San Antonio.
