I don't understand the idea that Russ isn't happy. This is his team. He does whatever he wants. If he wanted billy gone, don't you think presti would do it? i don't get it. Its like he thinks that he will just do whatever does and its up to everything and everyone else to make sure the team wins. Here's an idea, stop shooting threes.

Russ deserves some blame. The roster around him and pg was complete crap. The coaching was crap. If we're unhappy with the state of the roster why wouldn't he be?

Because he is part of the roster and his performance last year and the last two playoffs should embarrass him enough to not blame this on others. Just a lack of self awareness, I guess.

Easier to perform well when the guys around you don't suck. None of this is black and white. If course he deserves blame, but don't pretend he's had a good situation.

Only difference is one dude ended a team, the other netted us SGA + 5 firsts after only being here for 2 years. I don't have any ill will towards PG. Quietly asked for a trade, left the team in good shape, didn't really owe us anything which I know neither did but when you draft a guy it's a little different.

Yes. If we got a good haul back from GS at the time, I wouldn't hate him as much. If he came out pre that last year and demanded a trade, I wouldn't hate him as much. Walking away from Oladipo and Horford coming in was a pretty big F you directed at us.

But I also wasn't a huge KD fan relatively speaking. So it wasn't hard to devolve into full on hate.

Well I guess they wouldn't make the same offer for beal than for PG13 but they probably were willing to offer a lot.

The idea of Russ being "dissatisfied" is hilarious. The guy has let us down when it counted the last two seasons. None of these dudes were willing to leave cash on the table either to build the roster up. Presti, as much at fault as he is for not building a complete roster, definitely tried. He tried his best to get them help, and they flopped. See ya, PG. Good riddance.

If Paul George and Russell Westbrook had both played for 15 million per year we still would have been over the salary cap.

And they would have been overpaid. PG's OKC legacy is getting owned by Joe **** Ingles and getting **** on from 40 by Dame.
