Bare in mind Richardson was a fan favorite, got better every year, and we still traded him for Butler. I know thag nobody is safe, but damn I’d like to keep atleast one youngin’.

If thats the price you take it and run. This is Pat, he want to win now, hes not going to half ass it like the Celtic trying to win now, and build for the future, look at where that got them. We dont have draft picks to trade so somethings got to give. We need to have confidence that this organization can mold Westbrook into a better player, not stats wise but wining ways wise.

Can't see him giving up Bam/Herro though - Let's hypothetically hypothetically hypothetically say it's Winslow, Goran and James Johnson for Westbrook (works salary wise: they get 1 youngin and 2 shorter deals. We could also swap DJJ for Burton or Nader to make it a little more fair - and a pick swap which will never happen)

You just now thought of that? He’s been grooming Nick Arison and some of his former players who are in the organization to take over for him. My biggest concern is Andy...he’s not old but his health can’t be good.

Not worth it whatsoever. Need to stay patient and wait for his free agency year. Taking on Wall's contract is one of the dumbest ideas in history. Wiz already filed a med exception for him already knowing he's done for next year.

Yes, however I'm 99% sure (as LeBatard has said before and he's verrrrry in touch with the heat) that Nick Arison has vetoing power on Pats moves.

At the end of the day Mickey makes the final final call, but 30 year old Nick has a TON of power as he will eventually be our majority owner and leader (to both build a FO and a team).

I don't think the 30 year old or the 48 year old coach would risk the entire future for now.

I'm just thinking about the way he's building the team. Is he trying to build a win now team before he leaves or is he still considering what the next man will have to work with? If not, then I think a Beal deal will happen this year.
