-Team had peaked and they weren't close enough to contend, not a bad time to rebuild

Paying the luxury tax to field the declining roster they had built no longer made sense with the competition in the West only getting better. Definitely a King’s ransom too as you said.

Some team is going to get suckered into taking that Shroder contract. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him in Dallas, they’ve been playing up this whole 2021 FA thing and he expires that season. That team is also lacking guards.

Not at all, but the per year is a hell of a lot closer than 36m

That and Kawhi couldn’t have even done 5 with the Clips

People keep saying that but Kawhi is now on a much better team then the one he would of had if he went to the Lakers.

The "this is great for parity since he didnt go to the Lakers" is one of the most asinine drums that people all over realgm are now beating. PG13/Kawhi/the rest of the Clippers roster is a MUCH better team then Lebron/AD/Kawhi + a bunch of scrubs

LeBron and AD are top 7 players. PG and a bunch of role players isn't better than that + a ton of vets.

Lakers looking like they'll have a decent rotation now with these pickups.

Just caught up this thread - wow... biggest blockbuster in league history? Clippers have so many quality players around PG and Kawhi. Crazy loaded.

The return Presti got is absurd. Gallo + SGA + 5 first rounders?!

Also, not gonna kill Raps fans. They got a ring fair and square. I am jealous. If Giannis brings us a title in the next two years and leaves I could give a crap.

Keep telling yourself that.

PG13 was a top 3-5 player last year and they actually have a legit PO team surrounding them. Kawhi is on a MUCH better team then he wouldve been on with the Lakers
