At this point we know we won't get any return for Westbrook so if he can go to Miami for ''free'' it's still a win/win situation

Have just spent the last 15 minutes watching SGA highlights on Youtube. I think I'm actually pretty excited for him. Almost like getting 6 first round picks with the guarantee that you've hit on one of them with a decent player.

Our weather is similar to NY, so that wasn't the issue for us. It's mostly that people aren't educated on the legitimacy of Toronto as a city and still see it as some tiny garbage place, even though, like you said, we're one of the best cities in NA.

I'd heard at some point that part of the headache of playing/coaching there is having to go through customs for every road trip. Which seems nuts to me. You'd think they'd have some sort of special accommodation.

They do, they don't go through general customs like everyone else. The safety checks have to be done for safety's sake, but it's not a real concern for the organization. Again something that might differ in perception and reality.

I think bigger Conley is a likely scenario.

Riley would have to be senile to make that trade.

Based on some of the contracts he’s given out the past few years he might do it.

I could sort of see it. Real big kid. In an earlier era he might have been a SG or even a SF. Pretty shifty with the dribble though and appears able to get to the rim. Nice bounce. Looks like he's got tons of potential on defense given that wingspan.

Could Russ commit to not pick up his last year player option in order to facilitate a trade?

Bio says 27 years at the Miami herald. Does he have real inside info? No clue, but that's a pretty legitimate resume.

because he's rich enough and maybe want to be in a better situation to compete. Why not?

To go to a worse situation than the one he had last year. It's not like that's a real contender.

Maybe Russ doesn't care about championships as much as he does life style. Stranger things have happened.

Well yeah, but 47 million is a lot of lifestyle.

Also, that is absolutely the correct attitude, but you don't start to appreciate it until you start worrying about your own kids, mortgage, and vacation.

We also didn't lose a whole team. So, you know, there's that.

So I'm curious how Thunder fans view Russ. What kind of package do you expect? Wiggins/Okogie/pick or something much more?

SGA is a great young PG to start building around btw
