It would have been more fire if it was the black, red, blue color pattern.

Same here. I really need to see him in Clippers jersey and training, playing or watever with our guys.

i have a lot of apprehensions, still, though.

first, losing shai still feels pretty bad. he was the ONE guy you wanted to keep out of all this.

second, still feels undersized even though i know our 4 spot will do some good work. i think zubac will come back much improved after an offseason of healing through hand injurie as well. that said, we are really hoping for a guy like noah or someone similar to make us feel really good about the season. i wonder if tyson chandler has anything left in the tank.

third, i'm concerned about how we're going to handle kawhi's rest days. it's something we certainly should expect, for sure, but will our training staff do as good a job as toronto's did? will kawhi miss more games or less? fwiw i do like the idea of getting pg some rest days too. i just wish we had a developing young star who could eat up all those lost pg/kl minutes and accelerate his learning curve en route to the playoffs, a la siakam.

Agreed.

It was one of my chief concerns. These guys aren't old but they're going to get old over the life of their deals and they already have significant injury histories. Kawhi's is well documented and George just had two shoulder surgeries this offseason plus his broken leg.

I wanted Shai and Sham (and another Rook....Mfiondu???) to grow with these FAs and take some of the load off of them when they are 31/32 on the back end of their deals etc. etc.

I miss that kid already.
Presti got his chunk of flesh and he knew where to get it.

I'll believe when the trophy is held up.

But until then I believe God was a Laker fan and did not care for the Clippers.

Maybe it is more about ownership than anything.

we died for Donald Sterling's sins not him

he got what he wanted
the only owner who made a profit every year
and sold a $12 million investment for $2 billion

but now it's a new day
we got the best o̸w̸n̸e̸r̸ * in sports
instead of the worst

I guess it is all about the $

Life time Laker GM and Player signs with the Clippers, GSW and Grizzlies. Show him the $ and he goes.

Jerry West know where the $ are. I know what Jerry does before the Free Agent Meetings start.

I do Believe when the owner of the team is one of the richest men in America and he has a team in a major market
things could happen.

Unlike Paul Allen he came to a big market and i believe Portland was not able to lure the big fish like LA can

GSW squeezed Jerry out. So did the Lakers. He was heartbroken both times. Cut the crap, bro.

Jerry knows where the good ownership and management are. That's why he's here and not at the dumpster fire across the hall.

3 years? With the 3rd being an opt out year?
Wtf.

Literally won't commit a second longer than George can be here? And they both can opt out and leave us hanging in 2021..

Chill. This is all so Kawhi can get the ten-year supermax in a couple years.

It’s most definitely about the 10 year vet contract. I’m stunned he’s going for it considering his health though.

That provides some relief.

Good God if we have to do all of this over again in 2021.
