we're coming off a game where RJ just recorded his second double-double...21/10/4 after going 17/10/6, he's a ramp up player, he gets better the more he plays because his bruising style really

and the Barnes comp is a bad one...Barnes never had the handling, driving or playmaking ability of RJ...probably a worse rebounder too.

He's far more Tyreke Evans than he is Barnes. Similar size, athleticism and skill set to Evans. RJ with a very different mindset though.

Tyreke Evans with heart was well on his way to being a superstar

Shayok looks good too again

What are your thoughts on Thybulle. Looks like he can be a defender like Roco while and a very good 3pt shooter in the future

he's gonna be a menace on defense, can easily guard 1-3 and some 4s, only question mark is where he'll contribute offensively...if he continues to shoot 3s at this clip he has starting potential for sure. probably a better version of Andre Roberson.

Agreed. And since Thybulle shot 78.2% from the FT line in college (compared to Roberson's 58.2%) one can easily assume that he can be better than Andre on the offensive end.

Reke’s handles and speed during his first year is lightyears ahead than RJ.

Tyreke was much faster with the ball in his hand than Tyreke.

RJ reminds me a bit of a skinny Jamal Mashburn.

Reke was longer, faster, had better handles, and was more athletic than RJ at the same stage in their career. Dude better have a Buddy Hield like work ethic, otherwise, I don't see anything more than a avg rotation player. Time will tell.

Actually think if he works on his game, his best comp is a smaller, less physical Ron Artest. Bully ball. But that's a hard sell for a guy, who will never have Artest's physique nor Artest's defensive prowess. Maybe Bonzi Wells with better handles.

To be clear. Any of the Summer League players that aren't signed can sign with any team or do they have to be signed to their respective NBA teams.?

If it becomes clear that there isn't enough spacing later on, Im sure they will just send Ball to the bench and JJ into the starting lineup. I do think people are expecting way too much from NAW though. With Ball, Jrue, JJ, Hart and Frank, I dont see him getting much playing time this year.

Ingram wont start.. E'Twaun Moore will be at SF

:o

I could see it. Hart possibly too. Ingram's skill seems best suited for 6th man to me. Although I think for his development learning to play offball is important.

Then you are severely underrating Ingram

I hope I am. He just doesn't seem like a very complementary basketball player to me. And he's not good enough yet to not be. Think id funnel him to the James Harden route (gain confidence by dominating bench units) or start him so he can learn to play with other talent. Either way he's getting 30+ minutes so it's not a big deal to me.

I'm 99% sure it's any team.

Pelifan nailed it. Ingram is a heavy iso player and needs a clear lane with lesser options to be at his best. He struggled mightily when LeBron was trying to get them to play with a flow..

I actually don't think Ingram nor Ball will be on the Pelicans after February and Hart/Moore/Redick provide the spacing that will be needed for dribble drives and for Zion to work in the mid post

Very good pull up jumper while mediocre/average jumper off screens or pin downs. Average athlete with T-Rex arms and solid (but a bit shaky) handles. Plays a two man game P&R well (98th perentile) and has tendency if throwing crisp lobs or passes in general. Not a great defender but has active hands and play passing lanes decently
