Now I want Beverly back...and another drink.

Goodbye CP, I think I will miss your stop-and-pop mid range jumpers the most, but who needs that sort of thing...or ball movement, etc.

Also, do we even have a front court outside of Swiss Dream and Tucker?
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Hey guys. I used to hate the Rockets, your basketball floor, you empty arena. But I love Brodie so I will learn to like Houston, like most of you hate Westbrook and will start liking him. Let's get a ring!

Nice picture! I just got home from the Ministry show in Budapest and found out that Russ was traded to Houston! What a coincidence,,,

 Funny. But gosh doggit. I really don't know how to feel. This could crash and burn so bad, and everyone will say, what did we think was going to happen. I hope they, myself included are proven wrong. Russ and Harden will have to alter their games.

You guys paid out a lot of picks for Russ, but the top 5 protection on each pick and swap was smart by Morey, fully caps the cost of what you paid for Russ.

I don't know if I'd call two picks "a lot".

The trade off here is the Rockets gave up the smarter player and better shooter on a slightly shorter deal for a younger, more athletic player that makes them a litter harder to guard in the new West.

The added incentive is that Harden likely was eager to have his friend join him in Houston and the Rockets were reportedly at (or near) the top of Westbrook's list. So it presented as an opportunity Houston had to take.

Two swaps as well. I mean, they may not convey, particularly the earlier one, but swaps good options to have. If they can swap out an LAC pick instead of OKC, then there may yet be value

We are slightly better overall, not by much, but we definitely didn't get worse.

Chemistry matters a lot when superstars team up. I believe Paul's chemistry with Harden was all basketball related, but personally never that much. Westbrook is quite the opposite, basketball wise they have a lot more to work out, but emotionally, they are water tight.

Westbrook, just stay healthy, use your pace to speed up our game, if you want rebounds sure Tucker will box out for you, focus on defense, defer scoring to Harden, be a locker room leader, be that VOCAL guy on the court, be our "Draymond", that's all I am asking for.

Also about Westbrook stat chasing, lets just remember this:

Sure, swaps are always a great option to have rather than not but I don't put too much stock in them when the likelihood of them conveying is already slim given the history of how the Rocket have operated.

I certainly don't count them on par with actual draft picks.
