He stepped up a level from college basketball and is shooting very well.

C Edwards and J Green only other Celtics over 50% from the field.

Small sample sizes, of course.

Waters and Strus, on slightly bigger contracts than Tacko with the Celtics, both chucking away at 36% from the field.

To give you a bigger samples size on that FG%... Tacko shattered the NCAA record for career FG% at 74%. So that isn’t a fluke for him...

FG% is going to be high when you can dunk flat footed and that's the only shot you're taking. Will NBA teams do a better job denying him the ball under the basket than college/summer league teams? Is it even possible for most players to deny him the ball? Who knows.

Tacko had me jumping out of my seat running the court for the slam! With unexpected speed.I didn't see this at UCF.His improvement has been very impressive.

Tacko should be able to play 8-10 minutes a game, torch bonehead bigs and draw help for shooters during those minutes.

After SL Tacko can make good money in China or Europe, or get a two-way NBA contract. SL has expanded his options.

There’s no shot he doesn’t get an NBA opportunity after his SL showing. Some NBA team will sign him if it stupidly isn’t us.

He’s without a doubt playing in this league.

I agree. Putting him in is almost like switching to a zone defense in a way. It forces the other team to adjust (so long as they aren't just bombing 3s) and could take them out of their rhythm. Similar to zone, if you stay in it too long (or in this case leave him in too long) teams will adjust and start using it against you, but it could be a nice tool to have in the box.

We have to sign him. Besides his upside, he is a marketing dream. Think of the jersey sales alone. I already want one. :D

Yep -- not to mention the wonderful opportunities for wordplay his name presents. (I'm falling all over myself just thinking about it.)

I'm loving Taco, but Robert Williams looks like a man among boys. Kind of like how Jaylen looked at SL in his 2nd year. I have high hopes for Robert Williams this year.

Best Tacko Fall video I've seen, in large part because along with his good plays, it has a couple of terrible ones right at the beginning.
