If Grayson Allen is a cheap-shot artist, his art is more like finger painting. These two fouls aren't that serious but they definitely seemed to be blows delivered with intent to at least send a message. His real problem is that he has a reputation for being a cheap-shot kind of guy. What he needs is a change within himself that would eliminate his anger issues or he'll never progress beyond what he is. But that's just one opinion.

Prior to receiving the 2 flagrant 1's Allen got a technical, I believe it was him setting a screen on Strus. The 2nd flagrant when viewed from the right angle clearly shows significant contact to the back of Williams head and he started to go after Allen.

Belongs in the league purely talent wise. However he would want to eliminate that **** from his game really quickly. You have to be an elite talent to stay in the league acting like that. He ain't good enough to be whacking blokes and teams keeping him on

it took him 40min and 30 shots (fg% .367) to get there in the final, meaningless game of the regular season. nothing to be excited about, 99% of the league could do that if given the chance.

His talent is nowhere near NBA level, he's a scrub who just can't control his emotions and cheap shots people

I think Allen was filler for salary at this point. But yeah, that wasn't a good luck for Ted Cruz...Grayson Allen last night.

The 1st flagrant could have just been a technical but if they give him just a tech. there it would have been his 2nd tech. and his night would have been done there. They probably did him a favor by giving him the flagrant 1 allowing him to stay in the game. The 2nd flagrant was a clear flagrant 1 with the wind up and contact to the back of Williams head.

I wasn't pleased the Grizz acquired him in the Conley deal. I haven't like him since his college days and the fact that he will wear a Grizz uniform isn't going to change that.

Yes, you're the only one. I think, in that game, there was an escalation (of his attitude) prior to the two flagrants.

I do think the announcer's reaction was more about his history though.

The first one was a cheap shot and deserved the flagrant. I'm not so sure about the second one, but as others have noted, he had already received a T for complaining about another call. He comes across as an entitled Dukie who thinks he should get Cameron style officiating in the NBA.

LOL, if you are going to take cheap shots, Grant Williams is probably not the guy you should target.
