Wow NY fans have no class. No wonder Knicks haven't done jack for 20 years now. No respect for Morris or the Knicks.

Trey Lyles is a nice little fall-back signing for the Spurs.

He is still young, and the talent is there. He has the type of skill set that may well blossom under Pop's tutelage in that system.

This could turn into one of those situations where the Spurs, looking back, end up thanking Marcus!

Nice to have had Zion, facts.
But post KD injury, the Nets can figure out the future for themselves, without KD for a bit and Kyrie at the helm. No regrets here Bud.
Also, don't believe that the Knicks fans are all in SAS mode, he doesn't represent the entire fanbase.

BTW, I have a picture for your picture.

Robinson/Taj

Barrett/ellington/trier
Elfrid/DSJ

I wont be shocked if this team fights for the 8th seed I'm the east.

I'm not seeing it.

They'll be relying on an unpolished, unready rookie for heavy contribution, and a back court that can't shoot. Their PG rotation is bad. They're paper thin at the wings. They have one spot up shooter on the entire team in Ellington, although one could argue that Morris provides something of the same. They won't be able to spread or stretch the floor. Spacing will be a huge issue with that 4/5 rotation. You can just pack the paint and dare them into 3's. Barett is going to struggle immensely without the freedom and space to create.

Most teams seek out players with complementary skill sets. The Knick's went out and picked up the same player, 4 times over. That roster is bizarre.

Over under seems to be 28.5 which is not close the playoffs.

That seems about right.

Deep team of meh players typically doesn't equal success.

I’d peg them at 30 wins. They don’t have a single all star. They don’t even have a player who has ever made an all star team.

I’m not seeing playoffs.

Betting Randle makes the all star team this year in the east.

Although that's a very arbitrary way to designate a team. Kings won 39 games last year without an allstar. Clippers won 48 I dont think they had one either.

Gotta love Spurs fans bragging when actually they are not even relevant anymore, without Duncan they are a treadmill team and the proclaimed GOAT of the benches rans Kawhi out of town.

And the Knicks ..Lol. Going for the 35 victories and 12#pick I guess.

Yearly Knicks blind optimism incoming.

I'd be shocked if the Knicks win more than 25 games.

Horrible roster construction, very, very inexperienced and zero (efficient) perimeter scoring.

Barrett maybe a player one day, but we are looking at 45%TS next year. Knox will be similar.

BTW, Knicks fan here, absolutely like how the Kings are looking these days. Nice mix of vets and young players.

Blind optimism? All we want to see is the young players develop, win totals aren't even part of the equation now. And the roster is constructed to get assets at the deadline, it's painfully obvious to see with all these guys being on 1 year or 2 year deals with team options that they are trade fodder for teams that need an extra piece going into the playoffs.

With so many teams having a chance at the title this year we should be able to get late firsts and lots of 2nds from some of these guys.

Whoa. I see this this thread got derailed.

Just from a basketball sense...going to NY is the better option. Morris will get a chance to inflate his stats and be much more attractive to contending teams on a one year expiring deal.

He will not finish the season with the Knicks...BOOK IT
