It’s summer league. Marco bellinelli looked like the second coming of drazen petrovich, so thybault could certainly still suck.

His shot looks okay though, and that was the only real question about him. If he can shoot the corner three then he's a 3d guy already.

How will losing Russ impact Ferg btw? Probably highly dependent upon how effective SGA is setting him up but I'm curious.

I really am an **** for bringing him up again but I saw some plays he made defensively from a General Board thread and he was blowing my mind. His instincts and anticipation for off-ball defense are amazing.

To me it feels like having Raymond Felton's angrier and slightly less tubby twin brother.

He’s played what, 3 summer league games? I’d trust the college sample size from both 3 and free throw.

Driving home the local radio guys were on one. Al said we'd have to start CP3 because of how much money he was making.    Jim though we shouldn't but said there's no way we could trade him.

So... Carmelo Anthony?

Al is pretty on point when it comes to New York Yankess baseball from the 1960s but his knowledge of modern sports is pathetic. Its not uncommon that he shows up in the evening and isn't even aware of news that happened early in the morning. I remember once he was complaining why OKC hadn't traded for Rudy Gay. It was like 2 months after he ruptured his achilles.

He was a career 36% three point shooter in college. 78% from the line.

I wonder what the other on air talent in this market thinks about him? There's got to be a lot of 'that guy is making what? He's a befuddled old moron.' sentiment going around I'd think. How'd you like to be so hardcore you watch every Rangers and Astros game in case some yokel calls about that and here's Al Eschbach probably making 3 times what you do just phoning it in everyday?

I did think his career 3 point percentage was lower, but I think I had it confused with the 30% he shot as a senior. Weird dip he took considering there wasn’t a big uptick in volume. And his free throw percentage is way higher than I thought it was. Shot mid 80s for two years which is obviously great.

Still, 35% from 3 in college isn’t particularly good.

So every aspiring play by play guy watching a Celtics broadcast?

Al would have to look up to tie Tommy Heinsohn's shoes.

Anyone watching this summer league game? Bazley has looked really good in spots.

Something about his jumper reminds me of Shawn Marion.

He would look better in a more free-flowing offense. Looks frustrated at times just standing around the 3 point line.

Can we get a couple of assistants to develop SGA and the rest of our young guys? Not that I don't trust Billy but...I really don't trust him.

That **** is way too emotional for me. I prefer thinking about getting picks.
