I'm just going to assume AG is as loyal as Vuc until he proves otherwise.

When I look at BIG as F, it is really VIG as F. Vučević will likely emerge as Orlando's most tenured player over Anderson. Vučević is well on pace to play 750+ games for the Magic, in a 10+ year tenure. That would crush Anderson's record by some 60 games-played.
Vučević is awesome and I hope he is "The Guy" who take Orlando to title town.
#9 will probably be the first Magic number retired (after the lameness of #6).
Let me make a bold statement: #9 is already better than #25.

Looking at Gordon's contract, I see loyalty.

AG also spends all his free time in California and when we play the Warriors it always feels like he's auditioning.

Again...
All this talk about where Gordon wants to play and if he'll resign is really irrelevant.
He's locked in for three more years. He cannot leave until the summer of 2022 at the earliest. Why are we worried about this?
The whole league will almost certainly look dramatically different by the summer of 2022.

Yup we have an acronym that purposely excludes our best player because he isn't 19 but includes Mo one of the statistically worst players and Fultz who's widely considered a bust. While we are on the topic, I feel like the NBA title is up for grabs this year the amazing duo’s of Bron,AD:KL, PG are all injury prone and There are really deep teams like Denver and UTAH,HOU is a Boom or Bust Wildcard, Philadelphia is really top heavy. Plus there is always a team that comes out of nowhere (Pacers?)
Should be an interesting Season !

Vuc has the same odds as my dead grandmother of leading Orlando to a championship.

Really OT
But I’m the current GM of the Magic for the RealGM A Team and so far traded for Jrue Holiday and Lonnie Walker.
Just wanted to share the trades I made to see if I did good or not.
1st trade
Jrue Holiday
for
Mohammed Bamba
Evan Fournier
‘20 FRP (lottery protected)
2nd trade
Lonnie Walker
For
Khem Birch
‘20 SRP
‘21 SRP
And I’m in current negotiations for CJ McCollum based around AG/Ross.

Rather maximize Fultz as the primary creator paired with AG and Isaac, flanked by knock down 3-d shooters i.e. Okeke, potentially Bamba. Basically we don’t need Russell if we have a healthy Fultz. Fultz >>>>>Russell

This is again assuming Fultz is capable of being that player or even can see the court....
Russell is a known quantity and has led a team into the playoffs at age 23. Fultz is an ideal scenario. No unbiased sane person would agree with your “better than” assessment with the data available. Maybe Weltham gave themselves a timetable on Fultz and are waiting to pull the trigger. AGs contract was made to be tradable. Let’s keep that in mind.

If you can get Lonnie Walker for that, I would. The Jrue and McCollum trades would be very, very horrible.

All unbiased sane people that have analyzed Fultz as a prospect vs Russell as a prospect would agree, a healthy Fultz >>>> DRussell. And its not even close. Yes, Russell is a known quantity, and it’s all assuming Fultz can be that player, that is the scenerio the FO has setup, Fultz is being given every opportunity to take the keys to this team because yes, if when healthy, he has Elite ball handling, play making, size, length, athleticism, and shot creation skills and is the exact type of player this roster has been constructed for.
Bottomline, we are betting on Fultz. If that fails other option will be explored, if Fultz succeeds the roster is balanced and versatile as is, no need for a Russell type player at the expense of one of our young forwards.
Secondly, a healthy Fultz and Russell is not a good backcourt pair defensively. Why would you want Russell guarding SG as suggested above. I wouldn’t. I would want a switchable 3/D Danny Green playing off, maximizing Fultz as a primary creator, not a PG in Russell playing shooting guard and being a defensive liability.

Re: Official Speculation Thread ‘19-'20 II: BIG as F
D'angleo was traded away so next Steph Curry, but one with 40 inch vertical can take his place. ( Lonzo)
Matter of fact greatest PG ever , Magic Johnson, called him future Hall of famer and next great Laker.... 3 years later Steph with 40 inch vertical can't really jump that high at all, has fundamentally broken jumpshot and is fundamentally broken as well, since he is good to go for 40 games and gets hurt every year.
That's why everything you think you know about Fultz as player , and what comes from college days is simply outdated and not worth talking about.
Even if front office is 120% sure he will recoever, there is no proof whatsoever that he will actually ever be good player. Putting all eggs in one basket is always dangerous road to take.

There are no guarantees in life, simply calculated bets.
I challenge someone to find a draft profile rating that shows prospect Russell as higher rated than prospect Fultz. I don’t think it exists.
