Space Jam 2 Replaces Director Terence Nance With Malcolm D. Lee

Malcolm D. Lee has replaced Terence Nance as the director of Space Jam 2.

Nance's departure has been described as amicable with the studio and producers having differing perspectives on the creative vision of the film.

Ryan Coogler, LeBron James, Duncan Henderson and Maverick Carter are producing the film.

Lee has directed Girls Trip and Night School.

Space Jam 2 is scheduled to be released on July 16, 2021.

Lol at creative vision, meaning not kissing Lebron's ass the other dude that replaced this cat is Spike Lee's cousin, cronyism at its finest. Terence Nance has always been an independent oddball type bet Lebron just didn't like him.

Would of been a studio decision... The studio wants to make money.. Lebron would not be making these decisions.. Come on man..
