Sad Jerry Sloan News (Re: Health)

Post#1 » by Inigo Montoya » Wed Jul 17, 2019 4:02 pm

I apologize for the sordid source (TMZ), but this is backed up by other outlets as well. Sadly, it appears Jerry Sloan is not doing well:

Friends of legendary Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan -- who has been battling dementia and Parkinson's disease -- are asking for prayers with one close friend saying, "He is dying."

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Here is the source article before the news aggregators and sleazy websites used it for clicks.

Worth your time, I recommend reading.

Very sad, a great article. Jerry is the Jazz.

Sad news indeed. Even though his diagnosis was known for a while, this still brings new gravity and somber feelings to my heart ... :(

Pardon my French, but f*** Parkinson’s. Its an awful way to go. I had a family member go through it.

Wish nothing but the best for the Sloan family as they watch a giant be reduced. Glad to hear Jerry is surrounded by loved ones.

Jerry Sloan has been a very respected figure in both the Utah community and the NBA for many years. He's positively impacted many people.

We all have been explaining our roster, but this is so much more important.

Utah community knows how much Jerry has meant to us.

The giant, the force, the man who made the the Jazz - The Jazz. When will his statue become part of the scene out side the arena?
