PG - Frank (I'm a homer - I think he breaks out this year)
SG - RJ
SF - Brazdeikis
PF - Randle
C - Mitch

The lineup I'm most excited to see. Everybody is a ball mover, strong rebounding team, good size with really good switching potential, toughness at most positions and the strongest defenders at the two most important defensive positions.

That also strikes me as a really smart team. When was the last time we put five high BBIQ players on the floor at the same time?

I hope you're right about Frank because I love that line-up. It could kick some serious butt

And the best part:

PG - 20
SG - 19
SF - 20
PF - 24
C - 21

Average age < 21 :o

I'm in a good head space with the Knicks. I feel the talent is bubbling and we'll see some of it manifesting this season already. Anyone who ever prayed for a rebuild should be happy now. 21 is a number we didn't begin to average out at in previous eras. This is a fresh start

Hopefully one of these point guards hit. What other disappointing former lottery pick can we add to that mix. Already exhausted Burke and Mudiay. Surprised we didn't go after Rubio, but maybe he's to good/accomplished. Johnny Flynn still around? Michael Carter Williams, Dunn, Fultz?

I only partially joke. But this is a Maple Mamba thread. Hopefully his abilities help out across the board.

Rj is going to be a triple double threat: he seems like a natural rebounder and an extremely underrated passer.

Signing randle and playing with dsj might actually help his development, it will allow him dl develop his passing game.

It's long overdue. I can't help but think how it would look with KP this year. Whatever. It's a clean slate with very young talent/potential. No bad deals and no bad vibes surrounding the team. I'm really looking forward to watching these kids develop. We have a bunch of picks to fall back on if some kids don't pan out. We have trade assets galore. What's not to like? Hoping we hit on picks/youth sooner than later but...I'm in for the long haul.

The alternative is the last 18 years of star phucking and bad deals... no assets...no cap.

I don't mind as half the stuff Berman publishes is just information I can get from him or some other article.

I just skip his articles that scream "troll!" like that one. He's been trolling extra hard this off-season.

I was just teasing though. The post is a good one. We have had some bad rehabs.

Long time Knicks fan -- remember seeing the '69 Finals as a kid. Anyway, if RBJ takes 6 - 8 FTA/game, it will be a good year. Would like to see Mitch increase his FTA/game too.

Man **** all that. Can’t predict with almost all these kids. As long as they have a baseline of good talent. It’s all about work ethic and desire to improve and smarts. RJ looks like he has all that.

Berman didn't do the scouting report, nor did the quote come from him.

RJ had a good interview about a week ago after the SL ended and made mention of what he needs to improve on. He's not delusional in thinking he doesn't have several weaknesses right now. Him openly admitting what he needs to improve on is the first step in him progressing.

If he has the work ethic that I hope he does, he can end up being a terrific player. The talent is absolutely there.

And? Berman is still trash. I'm not specifically talking about this article...just Berman in general. He's trash. His job is to trash the team. He's trash on trash on trash...or...like Clyde said...other people's info regurgitated.

That report actually had quite a few positives, as well as areas of needed improvement on RJ, but of course Berman couldn't focus on that and wanted to make sure his article title had to reflect the negative.

Cant stand these writers.
