Anthony Davis: Chicago’s The Mecca Of Bball, Would Consider Bulls

Post#1 » by HomoSapien » Sun Jul 21, 2019 1:29 am

That’s why Davis’ short answer rang a little hollow when asked if wearing a Bulls jersey someday would mean anything to him.

“I mean, (this is) definitely hometown,” he said. “If the opportunity ever presents itself and when that time comes, I’d definitely consider it.”

well if he comes here dont blink since it most likely will only be for 3-4 seasons. Assuming that trend continues.

The on-brand thing for GarPax to do in 2029 will be to bring Davis "home" by signing him for more money than anyone otherwise would do when AD is 36.

It's possible if we bust 50 Ws and AD hates Lebron in LA.

Need to be a 45 win team and have Lakers have a drama filled season and maybe we have a chance.

If we’ve learned anything about the NBA in the last year it’s that much can change and nobody really knows anything.

It's going to be really tough to win 45+ without a single all star. But that's a minimum requirement to get AD.

Im not spending my time as a Bulls fan acting like a knick fan. Just going to enjoy who we got and the players we have are very easy to root for which is not always the case.

Lip service.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Davis needs to opt in and wait for 2021 where we can really do it.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

So is the Mecca of Bball thing your own random editorial? May not want to put in a fake teaser title to a thread.

Again a declining Westbrook isn't an attractive piece.

He did say
And we are the Mecca of basketball. You can quote me on that
....

It’s in the article right after he talks about basketball in Chicago.
