Re: Official Speculation Thread ‘19-'20 II: BIG as F
Calling Knightro or anyone really, does anyone from the top of their head know how good the Magic ended their regular season? Like, I keep hearing we were #1 in defense and how good we were in the run we went towards the back end of the season. I just want to know all the stats that apply to it, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ew, AG stooped so low as to play Fortnite. I change my mind about him, trade him now.

Maybe they'll rebrand the whole team. Could they change the colors from blue to orange?

No way they rebrand the court. They may have an alternate maybe, but a total rebrand down to color scheme would be ridiculous.

I'm under the impression that any new jersey and court paint schemes would be like 5 times this upcoming year and not a permanent change.

“In the first 51 games, Orlando had a 20-31 record with a -3.6 net rating. That ranked it 25th in the league. Over the final 31 games, Orlando went 22-9 with a +.7.6 net rating. Only the Rockets (+9.9) and Jazz (+7.9) had a better net rating during this stretch. Clifford’s team had the best defense in basketball and the eighth-best offense in these 31 games.”

I'm pretty sure I remember reading that he was somewhere in the 215-220 range after last offseason. It would make a lot more sense if that was the case for him to have put on 15 or so pounds versus 26 in a 4-month time span.
Regardless, I see this as a real positive him. Especially when it comes to finishing around the rim and banging with bigger forwards down low. Just adds even more to the excitement I already have for him this upcoming season. I'm anticipating a big one.

And no, this isn’t the 03-04 Pistons roster talent wise.
Well this is exactly what the Clippers just did. No we don't have the same destination reputation as LA, but they were able to trade for a star & sign a star because they were a solid team that could be put over the top with a star.

Good thing Kawhi and PG13 always wanted to end up in Los Angeles in the first place. That probably helps a little bit too...
Of course Orlando could trade for one, that’s never out of the question. It just has to make sense post-trade after giving up said valued assets.
