Why are people nominating Ben Simmons before Chris Paul? Do you guys really think those two players are even close in ability?

Trajectories for next season. Clearly headed in opposite directions IMO.

Edit: Didn't even realize when I posted, but Ben already had him beat in WS/48 and BPM last season (RS and playoffs). Crushed him in playoff NET rating too.

Idk man I feel like all of a sudden Chris Paul got really underrated.

You're either forgetting hes 34 coming off a big time drop off of a season or you're underestimaating the quick toll aging takes on professional athletes. But combine cp3s 18-19 drop off plus his age and theres no way hes above Mike Conley (who's not yet listed) let alone deserving of being in this conversation yet.

He is not a active player for the 19-20 season hence there is no point in putting him in the polls.

Have to say, picking who to nominate is really tough right now. Feel like I find myself nominating someone different each poll. CP3, Lowry, Siakam, Simmons, Jrue all have very good cases IMO, and I’d take any of them easily over Westbrook, Kyrie, Beal, Kemba, or Blake.

How does Gobert have more impact than Draymond when Draymond has consistently been so much better in the playoffs. You could make an argument that Dray's worst series is better than Gobert's best.
