Well, bad news. Although he isn't seriously injured, he isn't going to pitch again before the deadline. There is a minor issue, and this seems to kill his deadline value.
That’s not necessarily bad news. Hell, maybe they’re getting a precautionary MRI to show teams he’s okay? Pitching him right now would be dumb, anyway. People didn’t want Stroman pitching before the deadline in case he got hurt. Why not the same with Giles?
