It's absolute malpractice. They can't trade Votto, so they want to win with Votto. Only, they don't have the resources to win with Votto, so they'll be mediocre with him instead while crippling their future.
That's who we should have pounced on to trade Marcus if they were interested. Maybe we didn't like Trammell
