Let’s just hope that USA, France and Australia win over the hearts of a billion shoe buying hoops fans.

It's shocking how many mediocre centers they are going to try before they invite Favors.

Mitchell is going to end up playing that tournament by himself at this rate.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I just noticed that Slovenia did not qualify. So we won't get to see Doncic and Dragic play together again. I think they should have been given an automatic entry considering they were the last champion of Eurobasket.

Adidas are really embracing Donovan. They are going all the way out to promote him and the shoe.

Official, no... here's a... not so official one:

These aren't allowed, sorry.

Rudy scored 2 FTs already.

Vincent Collet is still about as horrible of a coach as you can get on international stage. You have to be a special kind of inept to not figure out how to use top 3 center in the world year after year after year. And he continues to keep his job failure after failure after failure.

Rudy got called for 2 offensive fouls(screen and on a rebound). He also had a nice offensive rebound and eurostepy finish with contact for and-1 in transition.

Collet is **** (Please Use More Appropriate Word). He started the bench guys in the second half and in the 5 minute mark he got Rudy in... and played him for 15 straight minutes. That's in the middle of the summer for a FRIENDLY game.

Donovan's injury last summer was bad...

It wasn’t until mid-July during the summer of 2018 that Mitchell became medically cleared for any offseason activities. Following his breakout rookie season, he walked around in precautionary boot, which stemmed from a left foot injury during Game 5 of the Jazz’s second-round playoff series against Houston, then had to play catch-up entering training camp.

Deseret News sources also revealed that a metal plate was inserted inside his sneakers as a technique to stabilize his injured toe and prevent further injury until he grew fully comfortable performing on the foot, once the 2018-19 season started. He wouldn’t fully grow comfortable until the start of the new year, where he earned the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week award for the first time of his career on Jan. 14.

We kind of knew that it was much worse than the team or beat writers reported. It was about 1 week before camp that he gave an interview for a Louisville University Radio and they asked him if he'd played with some of their guys on his visit to Louisville and he said that he has not been cleared for 5 on 5 yet. So yeah... in late September he still wasn't cleared for full on-court activities.

I couldn't believe how none of the writers even asked about it at the time. If Mitchell was in LA or NY this would have been a much bigger story entering the season.

It is strange. I wonder if the media got so caught up in the good vibes/friendship narratives that they didn't report on anything negative. That was a serious injury that kept him out for months and we didn't hear a peep about it. They only coverage we got from the media was them telling fans to chill about Donovan being in a boot the whole summer.

Some of these guys who are withdrawing weren't going to make the 12-man roster anyway. Drummond would have though.
