Why Raps? Weird should have been Nets @ Celtics. We’ll probably lose because we suck in Toronto.

They probably assumed we would lose to the Nets by like 45 points because of culture and stuff

Nets absorbed our culture so we’d win by 45  . Also that’s my dibs on first reverse jinx of the season.

Former player can skip a game no matter when it is, so might as well get it out of the way early.

Kyrie is not a superstar. Let him start by outplaying George Hill first. What superstars make their teams worse? Lol.

So Kyrie and DJ are not enough to score Brooklyn a Christmas game? Lolololol first L of the season for that weird ****.

I believe this is the first Xmas game for Kemba. Hope he balls out.
A new dawn will rise in Boston. ‎#StayLoyal THANK YOU TRUTH!

Would bet the Celtics owners asked for us not to play Brooklyn on Christmas — the booing is going to get ugly and I’d guess the team wants to avoid that on such a public stage.

Yeah it’s probably best that game is not televised at all lol. Going to be ugly.

2 thoughts on this:

The optics of a Boston crowd booing the hell out of someone on Christmas day arn't great

Also, what if Kyrie skips the game? Not great as it's got to be one of the biggest ratings days.

You need to have fans to have a home Christmas game. Would be weird to see a half empty stadium on a national TV game.

Return to Boston Celtics
