If the value of the guys they gave up is 'only' Derek Fisher, as many people have already said, I think they should have just held on to all of those guys as there was no urgency to move any of the three players. The obviously feel it's worth it.

I don't think it's wrong to go out and get a player if you really like him. My issues with it are:
1. You still shouldn't overpay to do so.
2. I don't think they're targeting the right players.

Hopefully the doubters, who are the vast majority including me, are proven wrong.

They were also pretty excited to land Brandon Drury and everybody thought they knew some secret information about unlocking his potential. Turns out he's a utility infielder that can't play shortstop and is an even worse hitter than we could have feared.

Shitkins hasnt landed one diamond in the rough yet.

I think overall they have drafted pretty well, but their ability to trade and get useful players is close to zero.

Fisher will be another sub .200 guy

BTW, don't be surprised if sanchez is back on the DL soon. He kept checking his finger tips. Astros probably don't give a crap if he goes on the DL, so don't have a problem with him jacking back up his curveball usage.

I don’t know, the same could be said about those that engage in a logical fallacy known as an “appeal to authority” where you presuppose that a person that is in a position of authority, in this case Shatkins, can do no wrong and you make absurd excuses for their actions to simply justify the position that you hold. Both extremes are equally bad.
