David Griffin is riding his own dick a little too much.

Lebrons response was corny as **** but that's nothing new. Shoutout to Griffin for giving him some bulletin board material.

Personally, I think a better response would have been no response... And a gruff "No Comment" if pressed...

Instead, LeBron's turned it into another marketing opportunity. Which he's done a little too much so far, with his time in LA.
Hard to say Griffin is wrong right now...

Have to show people on the court... Tweeting about it just seems hollow.

He's talking to much in the media. Not a good look for a GM that just got Zion.

I have noticed a lot of ya lakers fans seem pretty high on Caruso
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

For me he's an unknown in many ways. Any stats and play we've seen is pretty irrelevant because he was on very poor teams and typically if he was getting PT it was because other team members were injured. He's played zero meaningful games.

Decent play on truly bad teams in bad situations isn't usually an indicator of what a player will do when there are expectations to win every night.

That said, he does have good size and actually understands how to play defense at the point. Not sure he's going to break anyone down and get to the hoop on a regular basis and he's not going to shoot off the dribble much either. He wasn't great in Pick and Roll situations but did shoot in space pretty well. He showed he can play well with the ball in transition as well.

If he can be a 12-15 minute a game fill in guy off the bench it would be a great fit for us.... anything more would be a pleasant surprise.

Caruso is a gem, the league just doesn’t know it yet. This is gonna be his breakout year, imo. Makes his open threes. Can guard (and does!) 1-3, good help defender. Finishes strong around the rim, reads and passes well, moves well off the ball, good decision maker with the ball. “Caruso with a lob to Davis!!!”, “Caruso with a lob to LeBron/Kuzma/McGee/Cousins!!!”... “Caruso drains the three!!!” will be heard by Billy Mac all season. He’s now on a team full of vets which should elevate his game tremendously.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Caruso was playing really well down the stretch last season... Only problem with taking that to the bank is that it was an unimportant stretch where we lost more than we won...
He deserves minutes on this team for sure, but I'm still not expecting a whole lot.
This is a vastly different team... All these guys are going to be playing under a hell of a lot more pressure for the entire season and into the post season. It will be interesting to see how a guy like Caruso, who shines brightest when the pressure is completely off, will react.
He could end up being our primary backup Point Guard, or end up losing minutes to Rondo... Another question mark waiting for camp to start...
It's hard not to root for the guy though. :D

Caruso had the best highlight dunk of the season IMO, just a ridiculous putback from the least assuming guy. Reminded me of the famous Iverson putback.

I see CP3, Conley, Lowry and Caruso as similar players with varying abilities of skill. They are all highly competent in every facet of the NBA game, at a minimum they do everything a guard needs to do at an average NBA level. That is the base of their game and their strengths as players. What separates them is varying level of skill at certain domains of the game but at their core they really have no weakness and that's why I see them as similar.

Lowry is probably the best example for Caruso because Lowry is a high impact player with no obvious elite skill (besides passing I guess but I believe that's part of role and the system). In any case, I think Caruso could realistically look to become just shy of the level that Kyle Lowry has set. Lowry should be his goal.

Me and Marc Cuban at Disneyland...

Told him Zinger isn’t Dirk... Not really...

Couldn’t think of anything to say to him but ran into him several times.

This is a crappy pick but it’s him. He seems to be trying to ditch his group.
